In these sessions we explore our whole attitude towards Openness and Artistic Courage, Text, Training and Ambition. How to demand more from ourselves without being self-critical, how to come into the work as independent artists, giving to our art something of what we are as individuals.

Following much acclaim from previous workshops, this unique combination of Mike’s Meisner-based experience with Greta’s own work on the Actor’s Playing Position now develops into an exciting series, in which we can gain inspiration from - and learn how to play with - the great Artists of our milieu...

No writer epitomises this courage and individual artist’s vision more than Tennessee Williams, his unmistakeable voice in every word of “A Streetcar named Desire”, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and “The Glass Menagerie”, amongst so many others. We will play with his themes, his lyricism, his passionate directness and his subtlety. Come and measure your artistic position with perhaps the greatest creator of characters (male AND female) in 20th Century dramatic writing...
